Used units rails almost always look horrible, however, we clean ours in heated ultrasonic tanks, and if necessary spray paint them with a high quality acrylic factory matching color. The units looks very good, and are not just cleaned, but we put literally hours into these to make sure they look great and operate correctly long after the sale. Change to your existing needed configuration by barcodes as needed and you are good to go. This is a PSC Magellan 8500 series grocery store scanner with power supply. The scanner and included internal scale weighs up to 30 pounds and is 20 includes long. This scale will go into a counter and will require a space of 11.5 inches X 18.5 inch hole. Generous 12 inch platter on top with room for large vegetable weighs and also the top cover can have things weighed on them to lean on-even a factory sticker indicating same. This scanner can be used with a single serial 9 pin RS232 cable to both the scale and the scanner, it can also be used with two separate RS232 serial cables if your program requires it, or a single USB cable.
