These were designed to power an Intermec Handheld Computer (and possibly others). However, they would be great for lots of applications where a hefty (2.5A / 30W) supply of 12 Volt power is required. Just cut off the plugs, strip the wires, and you can power all sorts of 12V gadgets with ordinary house current. These use a standard “D” power cord (not included) which you can readily find attached to old computers, printers, and other discarded office equipment.
